The important difference is personalisation, not just treatment time

All three Holmes of Beauty Hydrafacial options share the same core philosophy: cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate. As you move from Express to Deluxe to Platinum, the treatment becomes more comprehensive and more targeted rather than simply 'more of the same'.

Holmes Express: the focused refresh

Holmes Express centres on the core cleanse, extract and hydrate steps, together with the GlySal peel and finishing skincare. It is the logical starting point if you mainly want a thorough refresh, hydration and clearer-looking skin without the additional targeted elements of the longer treatments.

Add-ons with intention A booster earns its place by answering a clear concern More steps are not automatically better; the best tier is the one that fits the skin and occasion.

Holmes Deluxe: add LED and more hands-on finishing

Deluxe builds on the core Hydrafacial with additional time, red or blue LED light therapy and further hands-on finishing. LED choice should be based on your skin concern: Hydrafacial positions red light around smoother, firmer-looking skin and blue light around breakout-causing bacteria and visible inflammation.

Deluxe can make sense when you want more than the core treatment but do not necessarily need a specific booster-led plan.

Holmes Platinum: the most targeted option

Platinum begins with lymphatic drainage and includes a booster selected around your skin concern, as well as the core Hydrafacial stages and a more extended treatment experience. This is where the treatment becomes most personalised for concerns such as dehydration, uneven tone, congestion or visible signs of ageing.

A longer treatment is not automatically 'better' skin care. Platinum makes most sense when the extra steps are relevant to what your skin needs.

So which one should you choose?

If you want a maintenance refresh and mainly care about cleanse, extraction and hydration, Express may be enough. If LED and a longer treatment experience are appealing, consider Deluxe. If you have a clearly defined concern and want a targeted booster plus lymphatic drainage, Platinum is the natural place to look.

If you are unsure, do not choose by price or treatment length alone. A short skin consultation can prevent paying for an upgrade that adds little for you – or booking too basic a treatment for the concern you actually want to address.

What about Platinum+ or Perk upgrades?

Holmes of Beauty may also offer enhanced Hydrafacial variants or Perk add-ons for areas such as the lips or eyes. Because menus change, these should be shown on the live booking/service page rather than hard-coded into an evergreen journal unless the exact current inclusion is confirmed.
